Camera Genius App Reviews

I bought this app almost a year ago, and it was a decent camera app in the beginning. However, the most recent update (or perhaps iOS 4.2) has rendered it useless. Besides taking forever to save pictures to the camera roll (which stops you from taking additional photos), there is also literally a ten second lag before the photo actually takes -- even when stabilization is turned off! I also have over 6GB of space available, so storage is not the problem. Today I was trying to take photos of my son learning to walk, and I pretty much missed some once-in-a-lifetime photos no thanks to this app. I have since downloaded "Camera +" instead. Well see how that goes At least Camera+ actually takes photos when I tap the button... Imagine that!

Dont join the million of users who have this crappy app. Its a gamble for anybody; and when these reviews say the videos load slowly, they mean SLOW. I took one video where the zoom worked fine, and then another to test it out once more. When I looked at the videos, the second one completely lost its zoom! After that the app went completely screwy, and the third video didnt even save! I cant do anything on the app now (literally, it wont even let me take a photo) ... Cmon guys D: ! I want my buck back now :(

I used this for the Facebook integration. The saving is very slow (awful) but I lived with it until recently it simply didnt save two videos I took. That annoyed me. I still may use it only when I know Im taking a picture specifically for Facebook. Otherwise, the built-in camera is faster.

It has some neat photo editing spots, but, it takes too long for one picture to save before you can take another pic. INSTEAD, go buy Camera+ , you can edit your pics to actually look good rather than have a weird orange look on it. Crashes LOTS, and I have tons of memory.

This is a fabulous high quality image app that is a "must have" in your photographic folder.

Bought it for the timer and the GPS location stamp.

This version has officially knocked it out of the park and it works great on my 4s I was pretty overwhelmed with the ton of professional features and found the camera manual to really help me to take some awesome pictures. The new features work great, love the flash button.

So far its giving me good quality pics and i can take many pictures at once even though it continues to download as i continue to take more. One of my friends took pictures of me and was amaized when she snapped 10 pics one after another. I love it so far. I would give it 5 stars

This app. Is the best i ever trey

I like the geotagging on screen, just need the gps status, because when gps is not ready, it is too late for the picture and precious data is not there. Nice soft anyway with all in one.

It was one of the first purchased apps on new phone. Have used it for every Picture. Thank you for it.

The app is very nicely done, however, running iOS 5.1.1 and using the app to open a photo from the camera roll can lure you into a trap. The problems start when you open a photo and choose to add effects to it, the first thing that happens is that all the effect thumbnails are blank (you only see the effect name). If you choose an effect then the screen (for me) goes completely blank. The UI elements are simply gone and you cannot exit this mode. The only solution was to delete the app and reinstall it, again (then again). Im avoiding using this app to open the camera roll at the moment.

Love the still feature

Finally an app that is all it should be.

After trying countless camera apps, this is tops in terms of launch time and all around ease of use. This is what I needed to go with Snapseed. I love it :)
